This week my psychic reading blog is about the spiritual benefits of going barefoot.
Remember when we were kids and went barefoot all the time? But then we grow up and the only time we take our shoes off outside is when we go to the beach and feel the sand between our toes. Our shoes have quite literally interrupted our connection with nature.
Our Entire Body Loves Walking Barefoot
When you walk without shoes, you are allowing your body to use the muscular skeletal system the way nature intended.
All the energy meridians of your chakras come together on the soles of your feet, so when you walk bare feet you stimulate the energy points for your entire body and allow yourself to be fully and naturally alive.
Walking bare feet, particularly outside on the ground, reconnects you to the earth. Like a tree that draws nutrients from the ground, you are energetically grounded when you physically touch different surfaces with your bare feet.
When I walk bare feet around the streets, I deliberately move to and from different textures to allow my body to experience the different sensations from the sense of touch.
Reconnecting with the Earth
By connecting to the earth through your feet, you also see your direct connection to nature. When I walked through the rainforests in the North Queensland, Atherton Tablelands and Cairns Highlands and quietened my mind, I immediately felt part of my surroundings. By having this direct relationship to my natural surroundings I merged my life force with the forest flora and fauna.

Reconnecting to Nature's Energy Fields
Begin to walk bare feet and you will allow yourself to tap into your natural senses. The connection with nature returns when you remove your shoes and walk in the way your body was intended to walk.
Start by walking bare feet ten minutes a day, then gradually increase the time by five minute intervals. If you're doing a jog or walk, take off your shoes when you're warming down, and touch base with the ground. Watch how your body begins to tone when you walk on the heels and soles of your feet.
Be in the zen when walking.

Online Dating Predator Caution
In recent years I've noticed something different when tuning into women and men engaging on Tinder, Facebook, Instagram and other social media websites.
I've noticed that 'Catfishers' and online dating predators throughout the world are targeting both men and women in record numbers. Some of the people I've been tuning into have been tricked into entering into fictional relationships with people who don't actually exist in real life. (Catfishing is a term used to describe online dating scams.)
The people you converse with on social media are not always what they seem. Photos shared on facebook and Instagram profiles may not be real. Online dating predators use stock photos from fashion models or celebrity profiles. They make up comments about how attractive you look, or about things they say you have in common. They do all this to gain your trust and to get you to let your guard down.
Recently I spoke with two customers who'd fallen victim to online dating predators. One had been sexting photos believing she was in a real relationship, only to find with help from my spiritual readings, that the profile of the person she was talking to was fake.
My other customer almost believed an online love interest who said they needed money to come out to Australia to be with him. It wasn't true.
I was able to give a spiritual warning about the real motives of these individuals.
Are You Dating an Organized Criminal Gang?
There are thousands of people reaching out to dating websites who are unknowingly being targeted by organized gangs from overseas.
If you get constant texts throughout the day and night from your internet dating contacts, it could be multiple predators swapping shifts and pretending to be the same attentive boyfriend or girlfriend.

The abuse of the spiritual arts is nothing new. Celebrity psychics who believe in holding onto fame, can stoop to using unscrupulous practices to stay in the limelight. An online business isn't the same as running the local corner store where everything is out in the open. Today, small business owners are being targeted by overseas criminals and are dealing with a variety of concealed attacks. Traditional Meaning of Friendship
What has happened to the traditional altruistic meaning of friendship? Why do so many people now selfishly use friendships for their own personal gain?
More and more often these days, normal friendship interaction is being replaced by computer contact. People wanting to be more socially active, or wanting to attract a loving relationship are using dating websites to connect and interact. Unfortunately, this can lower your guard to uninvited attention from relationship and friendship scams.
Friendships as We Get Older
One of my clients told me about the difficulty she was having finding real friendships as she gets older. She had gathered the courage to attend a social group, only to find that many of the people she met were simply wanting to network with her. She was surprised how unashamedly new friends sized her up for network marketing products and courses.
So what's going on? Why are there so many people feeling it's okay to taint traditional friendship ideals in this way? Are our traditional friendship values being replaced by self-centered networkers more concerned with what they can get from someone, than selfless friendship?
There are many networks springing up due to American influenced Multi-Level Marketing (Network Marketing). They attempt to sign people up for a plethora of self-help seminars. People who attend are asked for email contacts of friends and family who then receive calls or emails to attend classes. Then if you attend a seminar to please your friend, the pressure is applied to sign up for even more expensive master classes.
Networks Infiltrating Social Events
Many unsuspecting people are now discovering networks infiltrating their recreational activities.
Weekend sports events, dancing classes or charity walks are now attracting individuals who use any type of social interaction as a way of growing their business contacts.
Whereas once you could just enjoy the weekend, now your social time is deliberately targeted to get you to sign up to products, services, or grow business networks.
Friendship abuse has now become a narcissists breeding ground. How do you stop yourself being targeted by someone excessively preoccupied with getting something from you, rather than establishing a real friendship?
When you're feeling lonely or vulnerable, it's difficult enough gathering the courage to attend new social groups without then being singled out because of your vulnerability.
During my psychic reading where I discovered my customer had been targeted by networkers, I spiritually tuned into the woman who had approached my client at her social group. I could see that she didn't even consider her networking behaviour unacceptable. It appeared her charismatic method of getting people to sign up to her online lifestyle program was how she valued the people she met. People she met were merely a means to an end, as she tried to build up her network.
It's shocking to think that people believe this is spiritually acceptable, but she represents what is now becoming endemic in our society. The Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) appears to be encouraged by many network marketers.
Friendship integrity is lost when you have to weigh up whether or not you're being sized up for a money making scheme in a church community, or your local social events.
As an Empath when I tune into people who take advantage of others, they energetically reveal that they don't have a great deal of conscience. They are the individuals who will plagarize other people's work and take credit for the skills. They are preoccupied with bettering themselves and will use anyone who comes along their pathway if they believe it will increase their power, prestige etc.
It's important to have an energy of discernment when dealing with people who move towards you too quickly. When it comes to social environments and communicating with people on Social Media, be initially discerning, so that you can find genuine friendships. It may be a blessing in disguise to hold back something in reserve when you meet people in social circles until you get to know them better.

Everyone deserves compassion, no matter what age they are.
In my psychic reading blog this week I'm writing about a recent Australian radio talk-back program that failed in its ethical obligations to truly listen with an open heart and to support an elderly man who reached out to them for emotional support.
Old Man's Sexual Abuse Belittled on Talk-Back Radio
An elderly man had phoned Sydney radio station 2SM. He explained how he had been sexually assaulted as an eleven year old child and again as a 14 year old teenager. He was so traumatised by the experiences that he'd been unable to live a normal life ever since.
He had summoned up the courage to telephone the radio talk-back line, where commentator John Laws trivialised the man's feelings and made him feel that the traumatic problems he had been suffering all of his life, were insignificant. My heart ached to hear the man say that he felt worse for having called John Laws. There appeared to be no empathy, and almost no compassion.
The elderly man was told by John Laws to put his feelings aside and go to the local pub to have a drink with his mates. He was asked why (as an 11 year old) he didn't fight back against the attacker, and it appeared the caller was being blamed for being a victim of sexual assault. (listen to talk-back here)
And this is not the first time John Laws is reported to have blamed a victim for being sexually abused.
Spiritual Empathic Connection
As a spiritual Empath and medium I've done thousands of readings for people who have been energetically traumatised by sexual assault. The psychic scarring from unwanted sexual advances is etched into the ethereal aura and you can't easily dismiss it.
Sexual assault victims are no more able to simply dismiss the emotional pain of abuse, than they're able to go back in time and stop the abuse from happening.
A child who has been singled out by deviants will try to buffer the pain the best way they know how. The ethereal scarring will emotionally trigger many types of out-of-character responses.
The male or female child who is a victim of sexual abuse may later want to lash out at society or turn to crime as a way of shouting their emotional disapproval. They may reach out to buffer their feelings with alcohol or drugs. Or the psychological damage from the abuse may result in them becoming reclusive and switching off. All of these attempts to buffer their pain are methods of surviving.
Many people from older generations, particularly men, were taught to hold back their feelings and then made to feel weak for not moving on and forgetting what happened in the past. They had no help for bullying and if they cried or spoke up they were told not to be wimps. Their real emotions were pushed down and it is no wonder they feel so isolated when it comes to reaching out and getting support.
In not being able to empathise and give support, John Laws, is truly a victim of the age he lived in. He probably knew no better than to tell his caller to forget about his pain. But the man had never had a normal life. He had shut himself away from the world because he didn't know how to trust.
If I have one message to media and radio stations, it is: Don't ignore the desperate people in society who reach out to you for support. If you are ill equipped to emotionally support the callers, then show them you care by listening and helping them to seek out support from a respected help group.
Count your blessings that you have lived a life away from the trauma of sexual abuse that others have suffered. Stand in their shoes and realise that you would want someone to treat them with respect.

In my spiritual blog this week I was asked by a Brisbane online phone psychic reading client to write about the Australian Federal and Queensland State budgets.
She had invested in solar panels to help the environment and was putting renewable energy back into the grid. Now she said she felt demonised by the Queensland Liberal National Party who called her a "champagne sipper and part of the latte set" because she was selling solar energy back to the grid.
She was told by one Queensland Government that solar power was a good thing and encouraged to install solar panels, and now she is being demonised by another Queensland Government for doing exactly that.
Politicians Creating Division
Apparently the Queensland State liberal politician who referred to solar energy users as "champagne sippers" was trying to create division between those who invested in renewable solar energy and the those who didn't. This led to her asking about the way the Australian budget is creating fear and division in Australian society.
She wondered whether or not the coalition government's recent federal budget was taking into account the spiritual energy of exchange I wrote about 4 blogs ago (Psychic Solutions for Aussie Politicians - Energy of Exchange).
Even before the Australian federal election was called, I was spiritually guided our 'lucky country' was going to encounter a lot of hurt. I was spiritually guided that ignoring climate change and it's subsequent environmental problems, would karmically backfire on Australia in years to come. My 2013 spiritual channeling warned that we were entering a time of deception by individuals who controlled our governments and media. Spirit described these individuals as the deceivers. They would secretly dictate government policy to benefit their own economic agenda.
Spiritual Problems with the Budget
I wasn't shocked at all to see the reaction of the Australian public to the budget. I am guided this economic model will not benefit future generations because it does not operate in accordance with the spiritual energy of exchange, and has ignored the environmental impacts of not working in harmony with nature.
A Budget that ignores it's effect on the environment, and that blocks the flow of exchange between all people, will have a severe karmic impact on the community in the short and long term.
One crucial component of the Australian Federal Budget is missing. The current economic model is failing to take into account the emotional and spiritual impact on you and I.
Everyone is being classified as an economic driver, rather than a complete and multifaceted spiritual being.
This economic budget is failing to address the need to do NO FURTHER harm to our environment. The individuals who collectively created these policies have ignored climate change cause and effect. This budget continues to support dead fossil fuel industries, which are destroying our hopes for the future, and fails to invest in environmentally sustainable energy industries, the big job growth industries of the very near future.
If Budgets today fail to invest in sustainable industries and continue to sell all the assets that Governments in the past have built up over many years and that are earning money for the taxpayer, we will have nothing to fall back on when even more extreme, frequent and expensive weather events and natural disasters hit us in the near future.
Governments will have nothing to rely upon to rebuild residential and business infrastructure. The only way forward for future governments will be to borrow again from the international financial sector. This means the budgets of the future will cause even more financial hardship to everyone and especially to medium income and low income families.
Our politicians are continuing to treat us as dispensable economic units.
But as a spiritual being, you have the power to use your voice for the greater good and to meet with like-minded people and apply pressure to any government that is spiritually short sighted.
