A woman from the town of Moe in Victoria (Australia) phoned an online psychic and requested them to put a spell on one of her estranged husband’s lovers.
She emailed another psychic with the message "help me keep my husband, please". What makes this story different from the normal psychic-spell media story is that she is now in court accused of murdering her husband.
There is also the case of a woman from North Carolina who killed a psychic and her daughter because a love spell failed to work. One of the questions arising from these sad stories is: Where did the women get the idea that a psychic could bring their lover back through spells or any other means?
Of course the answer is that unethical psychic-reading companies advertise that they can do precisely that.
It happens often, someone breaks up from a lover or partner and is unable to emotionally cope. Then instead of contacting a genuine psychic, they reach out to one of the many unscrupulous online psychics who encourage them to clutch onto the false hope that a psychic can use a spell to change their fortune.
Anyone who has gone through the loss of a break-up may be vulnerable and desperate, and in some cases not emotionally able to pull themselves out of the fragmented thoughts, feelings and the false hopes they cling to. When they’re feeling desperate, they might not be able to see reason. This can escalate if they’re failing to take care of the physical and mental health needs of their body. They may even reach a state of psychosis and need professional help.
Enticing psychic advertisements saying things like: “Our magical incarnations will bring your lover back to you! Our spells work! We can mend your broken heart and return happiness back into your life. Free Psychic Readings - Reunites Lovers and Stop Break ups/Divorce” are designed to prop up false hopes.
But the fact is, they can’t. These psychic spell advertisements are spun out by the psychic industry for people like the woman accused of the murder of her partner in Moe. They’re marketed to catch those who are vulnerable to their false and unethical promises. This is not about helping people through genuine spiritual insight - this is all about making money through telling people what they want to hear, rather than what they need to hear.
Genuine psychics and mediums can help people in these situations by clairvoyantly guiding them to see what is really happening in their life and not making the problem worse by offering false promises.
In my 29 years of giving psychic readings and spiritual guidance I’ve had thousands of psychic bookings from agitated clients wanting me to confirm previous psychic readings stating that their lover would return.
When tuning into their real life situation and grasping the spiritual background of all parties concerned, I’m often guided by Spirit to give them a spiritual reality check. Some are so emotionally exhausted by false hope that they are suicidal. It can be heartbreaking for a genuine medium witnessing how many people are affected by the lack of empathy of some online psychics and businesses (most of the large advertising online psychic industry is owned by business consortium's). I've lost count of the number of times Spirit has guided desperate people to my door to help them find the right support and assistance they require.
The karmic repercussions of false advertising and offering false hope can create an energetic domino effect and you never know where that will lead.

An advertising example used by large psychic marketing
organisations - this shows a couple who have just argued.
Would it make you call a psychic line?
The spiritual and psychic world can be extremely confusing, there are countless online psychic lines popping up with people claiming they have a plethora of psychic abilities.A lot of the psychic lines are owned by large corporations that also run dating sites and advertise for psychics to work on their psychic reading lines.
When they hire staff to work on their psychic lines their main criteria is getting the unsuspecting callers on the line. Some of these psychic organisations have staff screening psychics without having first hand knowledge of what it means to be psychic. How then are they equipped to hire a psychic? These psychic sites market their psychic lines by offering free 3 minute readings and mass produce psychic advertising in nearly every published magazine in your country.
Do an experiment and check your weekly magazine and see if there are 4 or 6 advertisements that have the same provider on the ads.You will find their details in small print on the bottom of the advertisement. This is an example of a mass produced psychic line advertisement.
Another way these large organisations might advertise is to create psychic personas for the psychic lines you are calling. For example: Gypsy Psychic, or Archangel Michael. They will place a photo of a woman in a headscarf professing to be psychic - when in fact you are calling psychics that have been hired by multinational organisations.
They might also have photographs of a diverse range of demographics. There will be a photo of a couple walking hand in hand to attract relationship readings, an older woman to show she has lived life and knows everything you might want to share with her, she would be the one you would call if you’re having family issues. These marketing organisations will attempt to create advertisement scenes that make you think the psychic you are calling will know how to handle your situation.
Advertising is not cheap; some of these organisations will be outlaying thousands of dollars a week in magazine and internet advertising to get higher psychic exposure.
The true psychics and mediums are not able to compete with this type of advertising and when callers call these mass produced psychic lines and find the psychic reading to be nothing more then a counseling session, or a chat room they leave with the impression that all psychic, clairvoyant readings are the same.Spiritually it taints genuine, real psychics and mediums.
When you call a psychic line you want to know the person on the other line is all they claim to be.This is why it is important to be discerning and to source information from the organisations website and to identify if they also have mass produced advertising in your weekly, monthly magazines.
Also follow my psychic guidelines on finding the right psychic.I recommend that you go through a checklist to see if the psychic reader meets your criteria.Rule of thumb: never provide personal information to a customer service staff member. If they say they need to know who is the best psychic to help you and that’s the reason why they’re asking this information – hang up the phone.A real psychic begins the call by tuning in and giving you information about your circumstances and the psychic reading progresses from there. A customer service adviser will screen your reasons for calling and pass on this information to the psychic who will contact you. There are a lot of genuine, accurate psychics operating in Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA, you just need to wade your way through all the mass produced psychic lines to find the right psychic for you. We welcome your comments and request readers share your story.

Psychic Line Readings: How do you Get Value for Money, Quality Readings?
Vine believes it is important to be discerning when making a call for a psychic line consultation or booking an email reading over the internet. Now more than ever, when money is tight and you're wading through all the psychic line advertising, how do you find the right psychic? When you purchase a car or an electrical appliance you do your research, and the same thing should apply when choosing a decent psychic. This is why we offer these psychic tips on how to determine if a psychic line organization's claims are genuine, as they all claim to be.
Things to look for when having a phone reading:
Integrity and clarity of vision.
Someone who is empowering you to be your own guru.
Someone who tells you what they see, and not what they think you want to hear.
A genuine psychic doesn't need to be told anything before the reading starts, they will channel your energy and begin the psychic reading by telling you what they 'see' and specific questions can be referred to later.
Things to be wary of when having a phone or email reading:
Be wary of organizations who ask lots of questions in an attempt to feel their way, rather than giving you a sense of assurance that they have connected with you and are able to provide you with information that only you know is true. Note: This also applies to customer service operators, who are used by organizations at first point of call, to get you to open up and share your information, which is then passed onto the psychic/medium.
Be wary of organisations that have login websites only, or who have pop-up window requesting your details. The type of details that may be requested are: Your full name, date of birth, email/address and phone information.
There are two reasons to be cautious about these type of sites. The main one is that the organisation may be a scam site they may be sourcing your personal details for identity fraud. However, the most likely reason that the psychic organisation is requesting your personal information is to create a customer profile and to find a way of recontacting you. If you look at the website and it says you need to log-in before you can see the psychic/organisations services that should send out a signal that they are creating a customer profile.
Be wary of people who speak in generalities to get you to open up and give them information.
Be wary of organizations who attempt to create a level of dependence on themselves, thus encouraging you to call back again. Sometimes it can be difficult to see a way through dark clouds and there is a need to seek clarity from a spiritual teacher, however, it is important for you to be your own guru and to trust in the process of life.
Be wary of psychic organizations who claim that their psychics, mediums, tarot readers are genuine and all other psychics are not. Question why psychic organizations are making these claims and what are the benefits in doing so.
Be wary of organizations who claim to give back 'money back guarantees', and then only offer a percentage of the amount you paid.
Check if the testimonials are not related to people who work for the service and whether people will swear on oath that these claims are accurate. If someone has written a testimonial for an organization or psychic, look at the authenticity of the claims. Vine only accepts statutory testimonials and does this because people are swearing on oath that these things have happened.
Be wary of organizations who employ people who are not experienced in the psychic or metaphysical arts, or who fail to disclose other qualifications such as, psychologists, life coaches or counselors, who rely on creating customer profiles and data bases to identify if you have called their service before so they can check your details. It is easy for them to appear to be psychics if they're checking your previous call details.
Also, don't provide a lot of information for email readings. If you are being asked your full name, date of birth and to fill in why you need a psychic reading, then you can place these readings in the same category as communicating with a customer service operator. You are basically spoon feeding the psychic and anyone can set themselves up as a psychic email reader. It's nice sometimes to have a copy of a reading, but if that reading is computer generated or solely generated by your specific questions, how does that help you deal with your real issues?
A genuine psychic or medium with natural abilities does not need to make a customer profile. Should you be calling for a second time, a genuine psychic will tune into your energy as if for the first time and pick up on the subtle changes they see, without having to ask you questions or check your details on a data base.
Check privacy information on the organization's website and ask questions about database details. You have the right to know how your personal information is being used and whether they do take private notes on your calls or have your information in a customer data base.
When to Call a Psychic: Try to call a psychic, medium, clairvoyant at a reasonable hour when you are not tired, intoxicated or struggling with sleep. It might feel good to get some assistance in the early hours of the morning, but more than likely you may be contacting a 24/7 chat line service which is waiting for your type of desperate call. These psychic services will be advertising heavily on the internet in the sponsored advertising section. Look for the first 3 entries on the top of the search engine page or on the right hand side of the page. If you have benefited from a psychic reading from a qualified service before, then wait for the psychic to become available. Also remember that the psychic/medium requires enough sleep to replenish their spiritual ability and to provide a quality psychic reading.
Remember, patience is a virtue!
There are genuine psychics, spiritualists and mediums out there, you just need to do your research and find the right psychic for your needs.
Remember:do your research, ask questions before making a psychic line booking and refer to Vine's Psychic Line Guidelines on finding the right psychic for you.
